Avatar refers to a character that represents an online user

browser the program people use to access the World Wide Web.
byte a set of 8 bits that represent a single character in the computer's memory.
bit is the smallest unit of computer data.
RAM made up of small memory chips that form a memory module.
hard drive it stores all your data
flash drive a small data storage device that uses flash memory and has a built-in USB connection.
megabyte 1,000,000 bytes
kilobyte 1,000 bytes
Gig 1,000,000,000 bytes
Terabyte 1,000,000,000,000 bytes.
processor does all the computations such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing.
megahertz MHz used to measure wave frequencies, as well as the speed of microprocessors.
gigahertz GHz used to measure computer processing speeds
hertz the standard unit of measurement used for measuring frequency.1 hertz = 1 cycle per second
clock speed is the rate at which a processor can complete a processing cycle.
