| AUTOCRATIC LEADER | A leader who makes all the decisions and expects employees to do as they are told. |
| LAISSEZ-FAIRE LEADER | A leader who leaves employees alone to do their job. |
| DEMOCRATIC LEADER | A leader who encourages employees to participate in the decision-making process. |
| UPPER MANAGEMENT | The highest level of management. Long-term company goals are set here. Jobs include CEO, CFO, COO, and vice-president of marketing and human resources. |
| MIDDLE MANAGEMENT | The second level of management where plans are interpreted from the upper management and are put into action. Jobs include plant manager and regional manager. |
| LOWER-LEVEL MANAGEMENT | The first level of management where plans from the middle management are implemented. Job titles include team leader, foreperson, or assistant manager. |
