| Democratic Leadership | Team members contribute to the decision making process and this increases job satisfaction and motivates team members to work hard |
| Laissez Faire Leadership | Hands-off leadership style where employees are given the freedom to make decisions |
| People-oriented Leadership | Leader focuses on organizing and developing team members and this leads to good teamwork and creative collaboration but may also lead to failure of achieving team's goals. |
| Task-oriented Leadership | Leader focuses only on getting the job done and can be quite autocratic |
| Transactional Leadership | Team members agree to totally obey the leader and leader has the right to punish members. |
| Transformational Leadership | Leader focuses on inspiring the team and can be highly visible and spends a lot of time communicating. |
