Block off Reserving time in the office schedule to allow for lunch, breaks, office hours or vacations
Default Program settings used until/unless you change it
Filter To remove from display record that don't match a certain criteria
Filtering search box allows you to search for a text string within a database
Icon a graphic symbol used to represent a command
Mask allows you to isolate just one patient record on the display. Protects patients info
Provider a person in a medical office providing billable services
Resources a facility which can be scheduled on the appointment calendar (x-ray, cast room)
Recurrence used for patients who require appointments on a regular basis for a pre-set number of weeks
Refresh a request to manually update the database. Required if multiple users are accessing database simultaneously
Sort to re-arrange records into alphabetical order
Dashboard an area where icons are provided as shortcuts to program tasks
