Navigation pane The table of contents for you database, which allows you to open any object. F11 or the >> icon will collapse or expand this list, which can also be organized using the Navigation Pane menu
Navigation pane menu Controls how items in the database are displayed and organized.
Quick Access Toolbar Located in the title bar, it provides access to common commands
Record A collection of data regarding one person or thing
Record selector When you click in the box to the left of a row (record) in a table, you select the entire row. (The row is highlighted and an orange box appears around the selection)
Ribbon A panel at the top of a display to organize all commands under tabs based on their function
Tab Used to select active document in tab document window or to select a set of commands on the ribbon
Table selector The triangle in the upper left corner of a table (in the Tabbed Document Window) is used to select the entire table. The entire table is highlighted to indicate it is selected
Undo/Redo Undo removes the last command executed; Redo repeats the last action
