Methods of Delivering a Presentation

What factors do you need to take account of when you are deciding the method you are going to use to make your presentation? Size of audence; size of venue; whether it is formal or informal; cost of each method.
State advantages of using a PowerPoint presentation? It can be produced easily on a PC or laptop; images are added easily; live hyperlinks to other software packages can be set up; looks professional; content can be changed easily; can transport the presentation easily eg on a USB (memory stick)
What equipment will you need if you want to make a PowerPoint presentation? PC or laptop; Multi-media Projector and a Screen or Electronic Whieboard; or you could print slides as acetates - in this situation a Printer and an OHP (Overhead Projector) will be required.
What are the advantages of using a SMARTboard? Can be linked to a computer - and show what is on the computer on the screen; you can use your finger on the SMARTboard instead of using a computer mouse; you can write on the screen and it is possible to turn the written word into more easily read text.
