Monitor The computer screen where you see words, pictures and videos.
Laptop A small computer that is easy to move and carry.
Internet A world wide system of millions of computers that are connected together in a network.
Cyberspace The world that connects computers with the internet.
Internet adress Just like the internet adress, this group of letters and numbers take your computer to a specific place on the internet.
URL This another way to say internet.
Web site A place where you go to visit the internet on that has stuff to see and read.
Instant messaging Massages that you can exchange with friends through a special program.
Chat room A place to "talk by typing" to other people in the chat room.
E-mail A letter you send through cyberspace.
Bulletin boards or Message boards A place on the internet where you can post information for for other people to see, usally about a specific topic.
Username A name you choose to use for yourself when you're on the internet.
Screen name Your username in a chat room
SPAM Junk mail sent to your e-mail box that is usally advertising something
Virus A hidden computer program that sneaks into your computer through e-mail or the internet.
Password A secret word that only you and your parents should know.
