QuestionAnswer
Alert Textl notification regarding patient stats, appears on the patient demographic alert pane
Bracketed Fields Field in an exam document indicated by brackets, where narrative data is entered
Data dictionary Fields from the pt, record which can be added to templates files to include pt. info into a template
Export Templates feature that allows you to copy templates to another location (thumb drive)
Finish To complete a pt. exam, only the provider should select this option
Labs Test (blood, urine, or other culture) used by providers to asses medical condition of a pt.
Messages Eliminate loose paper in an office, permn. part of the pt.record, example-refill request or call-back from a provider or nurse
Orders Refers to a provider's request for an x-ray, MRT, Cat scan, or other diagnostic tests
Patient control customization feature that allows you to control what pt. demographic info will be included on each display on each display within to EMR
Patient summary When exam is completed , this document prints selected info for a pt, regarding the appt.
SOAP Acronymn used to represent the four steps used in a pt. exam
Tag Pre-defined selection of text that can be use to quickly document an interaction. adding a tag into a pt. exam acutally inserts all of the pre-defined text into exam with just a few mouse-clicks
Template 2007 document used to display & record information include dict. fields from a pt. record.
Vital Signs Medical info about a pt. current condition, including pulse, temp, BP, height, weight and other measurements.
Contacts A type of address book within GLOEMR to provide a list of contact info.
