November 5th 1982 Trans States Airlines is established in Missouri as Resort Air
May 2nd 1983 Resort Air is issued the Air Carrier Certificate from the FAA
1989 Resort Air changes it's name to Trans States Airlines
2005 Company president Richard Leach is named Regional Airline Executive of the Year by Regional Avaition News
2006 Trans States Airlines won the ground handling and gate contract for all American Connection flights at Lambert Int. providing jobs for over 200 St. Louis based employees
2007 Trans States Airlines won it's 8th consecutive Diamond Award from the FAA in recognition of exellence in maintenance training
October 2nd 2009 Trans States Airlines signed a Letter of Intent with Mitsubishi Aircraft for the purchase of 50 aircraft with the option to buy an additional 50
