QuestionAnswer
Define data Data is the names, numbers, and dates about changes. It helps you add, change, and search information.
Understand how websites utilize databases Databases store and manage accounts, posts, and products on a website. They help give you personal recommendations when you log in. Every time you click, the website gets, changes, or saves data. This makes the site interactive and personalized.
Identify basic concepts of a relational database To learn relational databases, you create tables and work with the data inside them. You add rows and columns and link tables together. By joining tables and cleaning data, you see how databases stay organized and connected.
Define metadata Metadata describes and organizes data with table names and column details. It explains what the data means and how it works. This helps people and databases understand and use the data correctly.
Understand file types compatible with presentation software Presentation software like Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Slides, and Keynote supports formats like .pptx, .ppt, .key, and .odp. They also allow media files such as JPEG, PNG, GIF, SVG, MP4, MP3, and PDF.
Understand how to connect external/extended monitors to display presentation Plug your laptop into the monitor or projector with an HDMI or USB-C cable. Press "Windows + P", then choose "Extend" to use both screens separately.
Use presentation views and modes Connect your laptop and open "Slideshow", then choose "Presenter View". Your notes show only on your screen, and the slides show to the audience. Use the "black screen" button to pause the slideshow and focus attention on yourself.
Add animations, effects, and slide transitions Select the object you want to animate. Click the "Animations" tab and choose an effect. To add slide transitions, click the "Transitions" tab and pick one. Use "Effect Options" to change the direction and timing.
Create and organize slides Make slides simple and clear. Plan how each slide flows and keep the design consistent. Add slides for instructions or activities, and practice to ensure it’s easy to follow.
Design slides Focus on visuals and use few words per slide. Show one idea per slide and use demonstrations or polls. Make sure everything flows clearly.
Identify presentation software options Choose presentation software based on ease of use, design options, and teamwork features. Google Slides or Canva are good choices. For collaboration, AI help, or fancy designs, try Canva, Pitch, or Gamma.
Import and insert images into documents Click "Insert" and choose an image from the web or your storage. After adding it, you can resize, move, or edit the image.
Crop images Use the "Crop Tool" and drag the sides or corners to crop. Or use the "Options bar" to crop to a specific ratio.
Identify different types of multimedia (i.e., print, film, video) Multimedia combines text, pictures, sound, and video in one app or website. To identify the type, check its format (PDF, MP4), platform (phone, website, app), and purpose (game or quiz).
