| Propaganda | Information spread to influence people’s opinions |
| Persecution | Unfair or cruel treatment of a person or group, especially because of their beliefs or identity. |
| Deportation | The act of forcing someone to leave a country. |
| Refugee | A person who flees their home country to escape danger, war, or persecution. |
| Asylum | Protection granted by a country to someone who has fled their own country for safety. |
| Concentration Camp | A prison where large groups of people are held under harsh conditions, especially during wartime. |
| Ration | A fixed amount of food or supplies given during times of shortage. |
| Dictator | A ruler who has total power and often rules unfairly or cruelly. |
| Militia | A group of armed civilians who act as soldiers but are not part of the regular army. |
| Checkpoint | A place where travelers must stop so officials can check their identity or belongings. |
| Contraband | Goods that are illegal to bring into or take out of a country. |
| Starvation | Extreme hunger caused by not having enough food. |
| Smuggler | A person who secretly transports illegal goods or people across borders. |
| Torpedo | An underwater missile used to destroy ships. |

| Uprising | An act of resistance or rebellion against a government. |
| Immigrant | A person who comes to live permanently in a new country. |
| Visa | An official document that allows someone to enter or stay in a country. |
| Trafficker | A person who illegally transports people, often exploiting them for money. |
