Peripheral A device attached to the rest of the computer, and something happens because of it.
QWERTY Layout of standard keyboards in English-speaking countries which refers to the first six keys on the top row of the keyboard.
Wired keyboard Keyboards that connect to the PC with a cord and use a rectangular Universal Serial Bus (USB) connector.
Wireless keyboard A Keyboard that connects to the PC radio frequency (RF) signals allowing for a completely detachable keyboard. Typically comes with a small USB receiver that plugs into one of the PC’s USB ports.
How do you configure a Keyboard in Windows? Access the Keyboard applet in the Control Panel. There are also some keyboard settings in the Settings app in Windows.
