Why is there a red squiggly line on the screen when you type Misssissauga? Its spelt wrong
What are margins? How do you change the existing ones? the parts on the edges of the paper that you don’t put anything on. And you change them in layout by pressing margins and choosing which one you want or creating a custom one.
What is font size and after paragraph spacing measured in? points
Explain what the align left, and align right commands do. Align left makes all the selected text start on the left side of the page Align right makes all the selected text end on the right side of the page
Explain what the full justify and , align centre commands do Full justify Aligns text evenly along both sides of the page Align Centre makes all the selected text go to the middle of the page in between the left and right margins.
What is the difference between save and save as? When do you use each? Save saves the copy as is and save as saves the copy with any other changes you make in the future.
What do bullets and automatic numbering do? Bullets and automatic numbering create lists.
What is orientation and how do you change it? how you see the page, (portrait or landscape) and you can change it in layout.
What is a shape? What is clipart? A shape is a symbol you can add not your document such as squares stars circles etc. Clipart is an already made drawing you can insert like a flower, or animal.
What is the difference between tab and indent? With indent you can choose how far away the text is from the margins with tab it moves the cursor to a specific spot on the line with a specific amount of spacing.
What is a header/footer? a header is usually at the top of the document and usually has the title or headings. A footer is usually at the bottom of the document and usually has the footnotes or references
What is the difference between a letter and a memo? A letter is very formal and professional whereas a memo is informal and not as professional A letter is sent to someone outside the business and a memo is sent within the business A letter is long and informational, but a memo is short and to the point.
