what is a saturated color? a color not diluted with white
what three groups make up the color wheel? primary, secondary, tertiary
what is a tint? color lightly
what is a shade? a tint of a color
what are three colors that are considered to be warm colors? red yellow and orange
what are three colors that are considered to be cool colors? blue green and purple
what are the five neutral colors? black white silver gray and brown
what are the six types of color harmonies? red orange blue green purple and orange
what is a monochromatic color harmony? pleasing arrangements of parts of shades and tints or the same color
what is an analougus color harmony? three colors that are next to each other
what is a complimentary color harmony opposite colors of pleasing arrangement
what is a triadic color harmony? vibrant the colors on each side of the color wheel
what is a split complementary scheme? a variation of the standard complimentary scheme
what is a neutral color scheme? a color scheme that includes colors like white brown back grey or beige
