3D rendering the process of producing an image based on three-dimensionsal data stored within a computer

face-polygon a flat surface enclosed by edges, typically a triangle or a quad
polly count the total number of polygons in a 3d design
normal a vector that indicates the direction of surface is facing, essential for lightning and shading
typology the arrangement and flow of the edges and faces that make up the mash
ngon is any polygon with more than four signs
