What are the Basic Components of Art? Subject, Form, and Content
What are the Elements of Art? Line, Value, Shape, Texture, and Color
What are the Principles of Organization? Harmony, Variety, Balance, Movement, Proportion, Dominance, and Economy
What is Abstraction? An artist's simplification to express themselves.
Objective Abstraction? Created with a reference.
Nonobjective Abstraction? No reference to any subject.
Aesthetic is: Something that is beautiful and sensitive to art.
Art is: A creative use of elements to make a visual statement.
What is Conceptual Perception? An object is viewed and that triggers the imagination and creativity to see additional objects.
Content is: Developed by the artist and interpreted by the viewer, it is the emotional or intellectual message.
