Color Terms

QuestionAnswer
What are the primary colors? Red, Blue, and Yellow
What are the secondary colors? Violet, Green, and Orange
What are the tertiary colors? Red-violet, Blue-violet, Blue-green, Yellow-green, Yellow orange, and Red-orange
What are the elements? Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary
What is tints? Saturated color that is mixed with pure white color.
What is shades? Saturated color that is mixed with pure black color.
Warm, Cool, & Neutral colors? Warm: Red, Orange, and Yellow Cool: Blue, Green, and Violet Neutral: Black, Grey, White, Brown, and Tan.
Color Harmonies? Monochromatic, Analogous, Complentary, Triadic, Split Complementary, and Neutral.
