| A physiological phenomenon where increased carbon dioxide or decreased pH reduces hemoglobin's affinity for oxygen enhancing oxygen delivery to tissues | Bohr Effect |
| Respiratory Acidosis | A condition caused by hypoventilation leading to increased carbon dioxide levels and decreased blood pH. |
| The body's first line of defense, a non specific immune response that includes barriers, inflammation, and phagocytes. | Innate Immunity |
| Chemoreceptors ( In Respiration) | Sensory receptors in the medulla and arteries that detect changes in blood carbon dioxide, pH, and oxygen, helping regulate breathing. |
