What does extensive weight training do to muscle cells? Hypertrophy
In which layer of skin does the process of keratinization begin? Stratum granulosum
Why is cartilage slow to heal? Because it is semi-solid and flexible, and it has no or a limited blood supply.
What are joints joined by fibrocartilage called? Symphyses
What must happen for muscle contractions to continue? Calcium ions are attached to the troponin.
