I thank you most humbly miss. But hurry on sir. The prince doesn't like beggars near his castle. If the guard sees you, he'll have you arrested.
For what crime, being poor? For trespassing? For loitering?
Look at the rags I wear, while Prince John's men wear buttons of gold! It's not right to steal from him!
And it's right to steal from us? Well, no.. But...
But? It's not right to only think of yourself! That button belongs to him!
This tiny button would feed a hungry family for a week. The guard will hardly miss it. Tell me how thats only thinking of myself, So.. you steal from the rich to give to the poor? That's the most insane thing I've ever heard.
Laugh all you want, but at least I am doing something about it. Do you mean to steal from me as well?
Alms! Alms for the poor! Alms! (2) But wait! How do you know my name?
