cytapheresis apheresis to remove cellular material
ecchymosis large bruise
elliptocyte oval-shaped red blood cell
embolism blockage in a blood vessel caused by an embolus
embolus mass of matter present in the blood
erythrocyte red blood cell
hematology study of the blood
hematopoiesis formation of the blood cells
hyperlipidemia excessive fat in the blood
hypersplenism increased spleen activity
hypervolemia inadequate blood volume
hypovolemia decreased blood volume
immunologist specialist in the immune system
immunology study of the immune system
lschemia blockage of blood flow to an organ
leukocyte white blood cell
leukopenia deficiency in white blood cells
lymphadenotomy incision into a lymph gland (node)
