| Input | Putting information into the computer |

| Motherboard | Center of the computer -- all components are plugged into this |
| CPU | Central processing unit -- the brains of the computer and controls the actions of the computer |
| RAM | Random access memory -- temporarily stores data (volatile) |
| ROM | Read-only memory -- contains instructions on how to start up the computer, non-volatile. |
| Hard Drive | Used to permanently store data -- non-volatile |
| Cooling Fan | Used to draw cooler air into the case |
| Heat Sink | Device used to absorb unwanted heat from the computer -- keeps it at a stable temperature |
| Ports | Used to attach items to the computer, like mice or keyboards |
| Soft Skills | Skills that allow you to be able to work with others |
| Dependability | Being on time and showing up to work |
| Effective communications | Speaking or writing clearly, properly, and respectfully |
| Work ethics | Set of rules to help you guide behavior and decisions at work |
| Adaptability | Being flexible or considerate |
| Trust | Work your scheduled hours, don't waste time, and not lying, cheating, or stealing. |
| Fairness | Don't play favorites, compromise, and respect other's opinions |
| Responsibility | Take pride in your work, complete assignments, don't make excuses |
| Respect | Treat others with courtesy, don't talk back |
