Input Putting information into the computer
Output Getting information out of the computer
Motherboard Center of the computer -- all components are plugged into this
CPU Central processing unit -- the brains of the computer and controls the actions of the computer
RAM Random access memory -- temporarily stores data (volatile)
ROM Read-only memory -- contains instructions on how to start up the computer, non-volatile.
Hard Drive Used to permanently store data -- non-volatile
Cooling Fan Used to draw cooler air into the case
Heat Sink Device used to absorb unwanted heat from the computer -- keeps it at a stable temperature
Ports Used to attach items to the computer, like mice or keyboards
Soft Skills Skills that allow you to be able to work with others
Dependability Being on time and showing up to work
Effective communications Speaking or writing clearly, properly, and respectfully
Work ethics Set of rules to help you guide behavior and decisions at work
Adaptability Being flexible or considerate
Trust Work your scheduled hours, don't waste time, and not lying, cheating, or stealing.
Fairness Don't play favorites, compromise, and respect other's opinions
Responsibility Take pride in your work, complete assignments, don't make excuses
Respect Treat others with courtesy, don't talk back
