What is Input? Peripheral used to put information into the computer.
What is out put? Peripheral used to get information from a computer.
What is a motherboard? Central to computer system, all components required for the system are plugged into the motherboard.
What is a CPU? Central processing unit, Brains of the computer, controls actions of computer.
What is a RAM? Random access memory- Temporarily stores Data, when turned off all data is automatically deleted, volatile/temporary storage- Deleted when computer goes off.
What is a ROM? Read only memory- Bios is chip that contains instructions and commands to tell how to start up. Non-volatile/Permanent memory.
What is a Hard Drive? Used to Permanently store Data.
What is a Cooling fan? Used to Draw cooler data into the case from the outside.
What is a heat sink? Metal device designed to absorb and disperse heat away from the CPU outfitted with built-in fans to help keep both the CPU and the heat sink at an appropriate temperature.
What is Ports? Used to attach external peripherals to computer.
What is the CPU Like? The brain of the computer.
What does the RAM stand for? Random Access memory.
What does ROM stand for? Read only memory.
