What is the purpose of a Motherboard? It stores the computers information and files. All components required for the system are plugged into the motherboard
What is the purpose of the CPU (Central Processing Unit)? It is the primary component of the computer that runs instructions.
What is the purpose of the RAM (Random Access Memory)? It temporarily stores data. When the device is powered off, the data is automatically deleted.
What is the purpose of the ROM (Read Only Memory)? BIOS is the chip that contains instructions and commands to tell how to start up. Permanent memory.
What is the purpose of the Hard Drive? It permanently stores all your digital content.
What is the purpose of the Cooling Fan? It draws cooler air from the case to the outside.
What is the purpose of the Heat Sink? It draws heat away from the CPU so it does not overheat.
What is the purpose of the Ports? They are used to attach external peripherals to computer.
What is the purpose of the Power Supply? It is used to provide the electricity to all computer components. It connects power from the outlet to the computer.
What is the purpose of the Computer Mouse? It is used to select items on your screen and give instructions to perform tasks.
What is the purpose of the Keyboard? It is important for writing, coding, and editing tasks.
What is the purpose of the CD/DVD drive? It can be used to listen to or watch a certain type of media.
What is the purpose of the monitor? A monitor helps you to visually interact with your computer.
