Lipids Aid in cellular structure and energy (Ex: hormones, membranes)
Proteins Composed of amino acids, used for movement (Ex: enzymes, collagen)
Cellular Function ER (smooth or rough), Golgi Apparatus (package products), Vesicles (contain molecules), Lysosomes (contain enzymes), Peroxisomes (detoxifies), Mitochondria (powerhouse), Nucleus (contains DNA)
Epidermis Stratum Basale (deepest/contain stem cells), Stratum spinosum (cells enlarge/develop spines), Stratum Granulosum (accumulate granules of keratin/lipids), Stratum Lucidum (clear layer of palms/soles of feet), Stratum Corneum (outermost/dead cells)
Parathyroid Glands Osteoclasts (break calcium from bone to deposit into blood stream) & Osteoblasts (pull calcium from blood stream into bone)
Muscle Cell Sarcolemma (membrane), Sarcoplasmic Reticulum (stores calcium), T Tubules (transmits impulses)
