Ceruminous The gland that is responsible for the waxy secretion in the external ear canal.
Stratum corneum The skin layer is also known as the barrier area.
Stratum granulosum The skin layer where the process of keratinization begins.
Genome Is an individual's entire set of DNA .
Normal mitosis Cells that are genetically identical to the parent cell.
Enzymes Are proteins that act as catalyst.
RNA Make proteins by translation.
Catalyst A chemical that reduces the amount of activation energy needed to start a chemical reaction.
Nitrogen The element that is present in all proteins but not in carbohydrates.
Nucleic acid Is a large molecule composed of subunits of sugar, a nitrogen base, and a phosphate bond.
Effectors Organs that directly influence controlled physiological variables.
