Yuan Source (Primary) Points: What are they? These points are said to reflect the state of prenatal Qi of each organ. Used to tonify Yin or Yang of organs.
Luo Connecting Points: What are the general indications for these points? These points are used to Tonify the Yin organs and Sedate the Yang organs. Often used for superficial channel problems-- as opposed to internal problems.
Xi Cleft Points: What are the general indications for these points? It is at these points where the "Qi and Blood of the channel gather deeply." Primary indication is for "acute painful" condition. Most often sedated for Excess conditions.
Lou Connecting Points: What is the LCP for LI? LI-6 (connects with LU meridian (Remember that the Luo Connecting Point is closer to the fingers than the Xi Cleft.)
