What is the basic structural and functional unit of life? The basic structural and functional unit of life is the cell. Cells are the smallest units that can carry out all the processes necessary for life, including metabolism, growth, and reproduction.
Describe the levels of organization in the human body. The human body is organized into several levels. Chemical levels, cellular Level, Tissue Level, Organ Level, System Level, and Organism Level.
What are the four primary types of tissues in the human body? Epithelial Tissue, Connective Tissue, Muscle Tissue, and Nervous Tissue.
What is homeostasis, and why is it important? Homeostasis is the process by which the body maintains a stable internal environment despite changes in external conditions. It's important for the cells to function properly to help the body operate and respond to stressors.
What is the role of the integumentary system? The integumentary system consists of skin, hair, nails, and associated glands. It has many functions, such as protecting against hazards, help regulate body temperatures, sensation, and synthesis of Vitamin D.
What is the function of the skeletal system? Support, protection, movement, mineral storage, blood cell production and energy storage.

What is a tissue? A group of smiliar cells that perform a common function.
What is the development of bone? Is a process that involves formations and growth of the bone. Divided into two types intramembranous ossification and endochondral ossification.
