MX Mail Exchange, identifies a mail server. linked to A/AAAA record of a mail server
CNAME Canonical Name (alias) lets a single system have multiple names associated with a single ip address
SOA Start of Authority record, has information about the dns zone and settings
DNSSEC Domain Name System Security Security Extensions, validates dns responses. helpful against dns poisoning.
