Neurotransmitters allow neurons to do what between one another? Communicate.
What is another term for "action impulse"? Nerve impulse.
What is the part of the brain that helps maintain balance? Cerebellum.
What part of the brain controls the vomiting reflex? Medulla.
Somatic senses can help us detect what sensations? Touch, temperature and pain.
Corpus luteum produces what major hormone? progesterone.
What helps in producing clots in the blood? Platelets.
After blood leaves the lungs and returns to the heart it enters what? The left atrium.
Where does blood flow after draining into the brachiocephalic vein? Head, neck and upper extremities.
What are T cells considered to be? The communicator.
In what form does oxygen travel into the blood? Dissolved oxygen into plasma and associated with hemoglobin.
