Symptoms of Sympathetic nervous sytem | Triggers the body's fight-or-flight response. Dilated pupils, It increased heart rate, opens up our lungs to let more oxygen in, and slows down digestive tract. |
The parasympathetic nervous system | Our rest and digest state. This is what relaxes our bodies after stress or danger. This lowers our heart rate, increases our rate of digestion, constricts airways to spend less energy, and lowers blood pressure. |
