| Cyber Security | Relates to the safety of your information and wellbeing while connected to the internet |
| Cyber security breach | An incident where information is stolen or taken from a system without the owner's knowledge. |
| Power supply | Changes household electricity into electricity used by the computer. |
| Exapansion card | Add new things to your computer. |
| Motherboard | Main circuit board that everything is attached to. |
| Random Access Memory (RAM) | A place when information is temporarily stored. |
| Drive bay | A place where a hard drive, floopy drive, or CD-ROM drive sits. |
| Hard drive | Main place where information is stored. |
| Expansion slot | A socket on the motherboard. |
| Censtral Processing Unit (CPU) | Processes instructions and manages flow of information. |
| CD-ROM | Reads information on CD's. |
| Floppy Drive | Stores and reads information on floppy disks. |
| Ergonomics | Enhance comfort and reduce injury (such as eye strain, back or neck pain.) |
| Ethics | The study of what's right and wrong. |
| Cyber security safety | Back-up data, use anti-virus programs, be careful what you post. |
| Strong password | A mixture of numbers, letters, and capitals make it harder for people to hack. |
| Digital Etiquette | How you conduct yourself online. (Your online behaviour) |
| Hardware | Physical components of a computer (things you can touch.) |
| Software | Programs and systems on the computer (things you cannot touch.) |
