| 1. Copy | To create a duplicate of a selection |
| 2. Border | A line drawn around the edges of an element such as a table or a table cell. Borders can also be drawn around graphics, paragraphs and pages. |
| 3. Cell | The rectangular area at the intersection of a collum and a row in a table, into which you enter data or graphics |
| 4. Collum | A vertical series of cells in a table |
| 5. Column markers | Markers on the horizontal ruler that indicate column dividers. |
| 6. Column width | The width of a column measured in in inches. |
| 7. Contiguous | Adjacent or next to each other. |
| 8. Dividers | The lines that indicate the edges of cells in a table. Dividers do not print, although they are indicated onscreen by either gridlines or borders. |
| 9. End of Row/Cell Markers | Non-printing characters used to mark the end of a cell or a row in a table. |
| 10. Gridlines | Nonprinting lines that can be displayed around cells in a table. |
| 11. Noncontiguous | Not adjacent or not next to each other. |
| 12. Row | A horizontal series of cells in a table |
| 13. Row Height | The height of a row a table measured in inches |
| 14. Table | A grid compromised of horizontal rows and vertical columns into which you can enter data |
