What is cellular respiration and what are the three main steps of cellular respiration? Cellular respiration is a chemical reaction that breaks down glucose to produce ATP which is used as energy for the body. The three main steps are glycolysis, citric acid cycle and oxidative phosphorylation.
What are the 3 types of passive transport? Diffusion, facilitated diffusion and osmosis
What is the 4 basic types of tissue? connective tissue, epithelial tissue, muscle tissue, and nervous tissue
What are the functions of epithelial tissues? protection, secretion, absorption, excretion, filtration, diffusion, and sensory reception.
What are the 5 main functions of bones? gives your body its shape, allows movement, makes blood cells, provides protection for your organs and stores minerals
What does bone marrow do? It creates red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets
What are main functions of skeletal muscles? Produce movement, help the body with body posture and position, maintain temperature, store nutrients and help to stabilize joints.
