TermDefinition
Neurotransmitter that initiates muscle contraction. Acetylcholine.
Example of fusiform muscle arrangement. Biceps Brachii.
How does Ca++ work in the muscle. initiates contraction of the muscle fiber by its contractile units, or sarcomeres.
Example of a hinge joint Arm by the elbow flexion.
Moves towards the midline. Adduction .
Moves away from the midline. Abduction.
What structures produce the most heat in the human body? Muscles.
Example of pivot joint. Head , rotation.
Main muscle in the breathing process Diaphragm.
Connects bone to bone Ligaments.
Connects muscle to bone or to other structures. Tendons.
