Introduction to HTML Week 1 Vocabulary

TermDefinition
HTML <html></html> Hypertext Markup Language, the foundation of web documents.
Head <head></head> Contains metadata about the HTML document.
Head <title>My Web Page</title> Sets the title of the HTML document (shown in the browser tab).
Body <body></body> Contains the content of the web page.
Paragraph <p>This is a paragraph.</p> Represents a block of text.
Anchor (Link) <a href=" Example</a> Creates a hyperlink to another web page or resource.
Division (Div) <div class="container">...</div> A container for grouping and styling elements.
Header (Semantic) <header><h1>Welcome to My Site</h1></header> Represents introductory content or a header section.
Nav (Semantic) <nav><ul><li><a href="#">Home</a></li></ul></nav> Represents navigation links.
Main (Semantic) <main><h2>About Us</h2>...</main> Represents the main content of the document.
Article (Semantic) <article><h3>Blog Post</h3>...</article> Represents a self-contained piece of content, like a blog post.
Section (Semantic) <section><h2>Products</h2>...</section> Represents a thematic grouping of content.
