Leader A Leader is someone who takes charge and helps lead there team
Leadership The ability to lead a team
Power Power is having control over people or things. And the ability to do things others can't
Position Power The amount of control/kind of control based on your title or rank
Reward Power The ability to reward people for following directions/orders
Expert Power The amount of power you have based on knowledge and experience
Identity Power ability to influence others based on their identity with the person
Leadership Style the manner and approach of providing direction, implementing plans, and motivating people to accomplish a task
Initiative The opportunity/chance to act/take charge before others can
Human Relations Treatment/relationship between people in a professional context
Integrity The ability to be honest and having moral principles
Autocratic Leadership one person controls all the decisions and takes very little inputs from other group members
Democratic Leadership Letting others vote on decisions
Free-rein Leadership Letting employees have freedom with tasks and not control everything
Delegate entrust a task or responsibility to another person, typically one who is less senior than oneself
Self-managed teams A group of employees that share responsibility of planning and doing their work without supervision
Open Leader having the confidence and humility to give up the need to be in control while inspiring commitment from people to accomplish goals
Situational Leader Changing your style based on the situation and helps meet the needs of the group
