Qu’est-ce qu’il faut faire ? What do I have to do? (What is necessary?)
Il faut suivre des cours à la faculté. I have to (I must) take classes at the university.
Il faut trouver un logement. I have to find lodging (a place to stay).
Il faut ouvrir un compte bancaire. I have to open a bank account.
Il faut avoir une carte de séjour. I have to have a temporary resident card.
Il faut s’habituer à vivre dans un pays étranger. I have to get used to living in a foreign country.
Comme étudiant étranger, j’ai l’occasion de parler français. As an exchange student, I have the opportunity to speak French.
