| nepotism | the practice of using ones power or influence to benefit one's friends or relatives |
| patent infringement | a violation of the rights of the person who owns a patent |
| puffery | an unsubstantiated exaggeration or overstatement typically used for self-gain; most frequently used in advertisements, sales presentations, and financial forecasts |
| trademark infringement | the reproduction's, counterfeiting, copying, or imitation, in commerce, of a registered mark. |
