nature of ethics

| Accountability. | People who are accountable for their actions accept responsibility for all their decisions |
| consequences. | Ethical behavior is important because if people aren’t ethical, they can face major |
| ethical principles | means your ethical beliefs don’t change when you’re in a new situation. |

| honesty | this means that you do the right thing even when no one else is watching, when it isn’t easy, or when it might not be in your best interest |

| Respect. | Ethical people always honor the rights, freedoms, views, and property of others |
