5G 10 Gigabit/s download at the higher end, 100-900 Megabit/s at the lower end.
GSM - Global System for Mobile Communications Was 90% of the world market, gave worldwide coverage. Used multiplexing, everyone gets a sliver of time on the network. AT&T and T-Mobile.
CDMA - Code Division Multiple Access Everyone can communicate at the same time (implied). Verizon and Sprint. Calls and encoded and decoded for security.
PRL - Preferred Roaming List Allows phone to connect to towers to update over the air (OTA).
