The craniosacral nervous system is also known as the? The parasympathetic nervous system
Define cerebellum A region of the brain located at the back of the skull. It plays a crucial role in coordinating voluntary movements, balance, and posture.
What are the ossicles? A group of three small bones in the middle ear responsible for amplifying and transferring sound from the external ear to the inner ear.
What is perfussion? The process of delivering oxygen and nutrients to tissues and organs through the bloodstream.
Define Leukopenia A medical condition characterized by a decrease in the number of white blood cells circulating in the bloodstream.
What is the definition of lymph? Lymph is a clear fluid that circulates throughout the lymphatic system, carrying white blood cells and waste products away from tissues and back into the bloodstream.
How is carbonic acid formed? Carbonic acid is formed when carbon dioxide dissolves in water, resulting in the production of hydrogen ions and bicarbonate ions.
Define Ghrelin Ghrelin is a hormone produced in the stomach that stimulates appetite and promotes food intake.
Define Leptin Leptin is a hormone produced by fat cells that helps regulate energy balance by suppressing appetite and increasing energy expenditure.
