savings an economy of or reduction in money, time, or another resource.
investment the action or process of investing money for profit or material result.
return on investment How much money you get back from an investment
compound interest interest that can change
stock the goods or merchandise kept on the premises of a business or warehouse and available for sale or distribution.
bond a relationship between people or groups based on shared feelings, interests, or experiences.
diversification the action of diversifying something or the fact of becoming more diverse.
retirement account a plan for setting aside money to be spent after retirement.
stock market a stock exchange.
dividend payments a company makes to share profits with its stockholders.
mutual fund an investment program funded by shareholders that trades in diversified holdings and is professionally managed.
common stock Common stock is a security that represents ownership in a corporation
preferred stock shares of a company's stock with dividends that are paid out to shareholders before common stock dividends are issued
corporate bond debt issued by a company in order for it to raise capital.
government bond A government bond is a debt security issued by a government to support government spending and obligations
beneficiary a person who derives advantage from something, especially a trust, will, or life insurance policy.
executor a person who produces something or puts something into effect.
trust investigates how individuals maintain trust when cooperating
estate an extensive area of land in the country, usually with a large house, owned by one person, family, or organization.

investment liquidity Liquidity generally refers to how easily or quickly a security can be bought or sold in a secondary market

personal financial planning Personal finance is the financial management which an individual or a family unit performs to budget, save, and spend monetary resources over time, taking into account various financial risks and future life events
estate planning Estate planning is the process of anticipating and arranging for the management and disposal of a person's estate during the person's life in preparation for a person's future incapacity or death.
