| Organization strategic plan | states firm's mission, goals, overall broad necessary steps to reach these goals |
| IT architecture | the way an org. information resources should be used to accomplish it's mission |
| IT strategic plan | set of long-range goals that describe the IT infrastructure & major IT initiatives needed to accomplish it's missions |
| IT operational plan | Contains; mission, IT environment, IT functions, app portfolio, objectives of functions, resources allocations |
| Intangible benefits | desirable IT benefits that could be difficult to place a monetary value on it [Net present value, Return on investment, Breakeven analysis] |
