Term | Definition |

Editor | the large window where we type our code (on the left) |
Line Number | the number at the beginning of each line. |
Run | after we type in our code, we click the "Run" button to execute the program. |

Plagirism | The unethical act of passing off someones else's work as your own. |
Problem Solver | A thinker that takes all of the knowledge and resources at hard design solutions |
Perserverance | The act of countiuing to attempt something difficult, even if it takes a long time to succeed, often after many failures. |
Growth Mindset | The belief that you can learn and grow throuh perserverance and resillience |
Debugging | The process of searching for identifying, and fixing errors in a code/program. |
Facilitating Questions | Questions that are used to guide conversations rather than provide answers. |
Constructive Critisism | Suggesting improvements or questioning a decision in a healthy and supportive manner. |
Specification | A statement at the top of the input panel that specifies the purpose of the program(as a comment so it is ignored by the program |
Documentation | A description of all the avalible libraries for your refrence. |
Library | A collection of predefined functions functions. |
Import Statement | Using the keyword IMPORT followed by the name of the library being imported. Once the library is imported in to the code, the programmer can use any function defined in that library. |
Hanging Indent | Formatting of a paragraph, citation, or definition for which all lines except the first are intended. |
Header | The header is the specification, name, and date, and Import Statements. |
Body | is where the actual code is *must contain program. |
