Expressions Related to Your Major, Your Courses, and Your Year

QuestionAnswer
Qu'est-ce que tu étudies? What do you study? / What is your major?
J'étudie le/la/l' (sujet). I study (subject).
Qu'est-ce que tu as comme cours ce semestre? What courses do you have this semester?
J'ai (sujet) et (sujet); ou j'ai un/deux/trois cours de (sujet). I have (subject) and (subject); or, I have one/two/three courses of (subject).
Comment sont tes cours? How are your courses?
Mon cours de (sujet) est (adjectif). My (subject) course is (adjective).
En (sujet), j'ai beaucoup (de travail, d'examens, de devoirs). In (subject), I have a lot (of work, of tests, of homework).
Tu es en quelle année? What year are you in?
Je suis en première/deuxième/troisième/quatrième année. I am in my first/second/third/fourth year.
Quelle est ta spécialisation? What is your major?
Ma spécialisation, c'est le/la/l' (sujet). My major, it's (subject).
J'étudie le/la/l' (sujet). I study (subject).
