Computer components

TermDefinition
Motherboard It connects all other components in the computer.
CD-ROM Used to store programs and data files.
RAM Random Access Memory- The short term memory of the computer. More RAM=More speed.
ROM Read Only Memory- The long term/Permanent memory.
Heat Sink Moves all the heat way from the computer.
Cooling Fan Blows all the heat away from the computer.
CPU Processes all the information. The brain of the computer.
Power Supply Gives the motherboard power to function.
