Modality Healing apparatus
Muscle Cramp Involuntary contraction of a muscle that doesn’t relax
Point Tenderness Pain produced when structure is palpated
Puncture wound Body part is pierced or stabbed by an object
Range of Motion Amount of movement allowed at the joint
Referred Pain Pain felt somewhere other than it’s origin
Risk Factor Something that increases the chance of a condition or disease
Sprain Stretching or tearing of ligaments
Strain Stretching or tearing of muscle/tendon
Sign Something found during an exam by a doctor or laboratory test that signifies a condition or disease
Symptom Physical problem a person experiences that indicates a disease

Hyper- Excessive
Hypo- Not enough/under/beneath
Myo- Muscle
