| Zero-based budget | a method that has you allocate all of your money to expenses |
| Fixed Expenses | cost the same amount on a routine basis. |
| Variable Expenses | production output or sales |
| Income | money received, especially on a regular basis, for work or through investments. |
| Need | because it is essential or very important. |
| Want | to feel a need or a desire for; wish for |
| Disposable Income | available to be spent or saved as one wishes. |
| Financial Plan | their short- and long-term monetary goals |
| Assets | a useful or valuable thing, person, or quality |
| Liabilities | the state of being responsible for something, especially by law. |
| Net Worth | minus the total of all of your liabilities |
| Capital | the money used to build, run, or grow a business |
| Surplus | an amount of something left over when requirements have been met; an excess of production or supply over demand. |
| Budget | a usually leather pouch, wallet, or pack |
