Computer Hardware Componets

Central Processing Unit (CPU) executes instructions of a computer program, performs arithmetic, and logical operations
Motherboard connects and provides communication between all hardware componets
Random Access Memory (RAM) temporarily stores data that the CPU is currently working on
Storage Devices Store data, programs, and the operating system
Graphics Processing Units (GPU) Specialized hardware designed to handle graphical computations
Power Supply Unit (PSU) Converts electricity from the outlet into a form that the computer can use
Cooling System keeps the temperature of various components within safe operating limits
Expansion Cards adds extra functionality to the computer through specialized hardware
BIOS/UEFI Basic Input and output system/ unified extensible firmware Interface. Firmware that initilaizes hardware during the boot up process
Network Interface Controller (NIC) Connects the computer to a network, enabling communication with the other devices/
Sound Card manages audio input and output
Input/output devices allows interaction with the computer
